CM will be in St. Louis, Missouri May 22-26, 2011 for the 2011 Cement Technical Conference being held at the America’s Center downtown.

The conference will include top experts in the field holding seminars and the ever popular Environmental Workshop to discuss a variety of technical issues that face the cement industry today.  There will be guided tours to two local cement facilities including Buzzi Unicem in Selma and the Holcim Cement Plant in Ste. Genevieve.

CM will exhibit our complete line of tire recycling systems that are uniquely designed for making the cleanest cut tire chips in the industry – ideal for  tire derived fuel (TDF). Currently there are a number of cement kilns that use TDF as an alternative fuel source.  A cement plant will create a mix of fossil fuel such as coal and mix in the tire chips to boost BTU levels in the cement kiln processing.

To learn more about the benefits of TDF for cement kilns check out the May issue of World Cement Magazine to read an article recently co-published by Kaytee Moran of CM and Fredrick De Raedt of Alterros – www.alterros.com    Go to:  Clean Cut Chips
